The
6428 Series traps utilize a metallic catalyst and a molecular
sieve to remove oxygen and water vapor from most non-corrosive
gases. Oxygen and a variety of other oxides react with the
activated bed material to form a manganese oxide. The oxide has
a deep brown color, giving a dramatic and progressive color
change. |
