Dewar Flasks

Design Features
  • Unbreakable 304 stainless steel
  • High vacuum insulation (space between the double wall is evacuated)
  • Light and compact (the lugs on outer surface insure easy transportation---no protection case is necessary)
  • Hot and cold temperature resistance
  • Easy to carry (some styles have removable stainless steel handles).

Applications
  • In physics and chemistry (cold traps, cold junctions, constant temperature baths, oil baths, water baths, etc.)
  • To store and transport liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen and other low temperature liquefied gases
  • To store and transport frozen or cold materials
  • To store and transport high temperature materials
  • In medical treatment and medical study (preserving organs, cells, etc.)

Description
Matheson flasks are available in sizes from 0.5 liters (1 pint) to 6.0 liters (6.4 qts.) The D-1000, D-1000W, D-2000, D-3000 and D-6000 have removable stainless steel handles for carrying. The D-1000, D1000W and D-2000 have metering lines on inner vessel surface.
