The 465 Indicators use a dyed silica gel which changes color from blue (at relative humidifies less than 4%) to pink (at relative humidity levels higher than 40%). When the silica gel is pink, it has absorbed the maximum amount of water. It is easily removed and replaced with the indicator body still in the line.

• Use downstream of moisture removing purifiers to indicate the exhaustion of the molecular sieve material

• Silica gel can be regenerated by flushing the indicator with a dry gas or by heating the indicating element in an oven at 150°C for 2 to 3 hours
