MP202 & MP204 WALL-MOUNTED
The MP202 and MP204
are wall-mounted, microprocessor-based control units housed in
weatherproof enclosures. The MP202 is a two-channel
controller which can be used for 1 or 2 sensor channels, while the MP204
is a four channel controller which can be used for up to 4 sensor
channels. A front door keypad enables convenient operation of the
controller without the need to open the enclosure. Standard features
include: 3 alarm setpoints per channel, digital display per channel,
common relays (optional individual relays), operates on 110/220 VAC (autoswitching),
and 24 VDC power supply to power sensor transmitters. Both the MP202
and MP204 can be used with either our standard sensor transmitter
(SM95) or our intelligent sensor transmitter (4-20IQ).

MP24 RACK/PANEL MOUNTED
The MP24 is a
rack/panel-mounted version of the MP202. It is a
compact control unit which accepts 1 or 2 sensor channels. Up to 12 of
these control units will fit into a standard 19" rack or panel
space, for a total of 24 sensor channels. Standard features include: 3
alarm setpoints per channel, digital display per channel, choice of
individual or common relays, and choice of operating voltages (110/220
VAC or +24VDC). The MP24 can be used with either our
standard sensor transmitter (SM95) or our intelligent
sensor transmitter (4-20IQ). Please see below for
details.
MP220EX EXPLOSION-PROOF
The MP220EX is a two channel,
explosion-proof, wall mounted, control unit rated for use in Class 1,
Div. 1, Groups C & D (B optional) hazardous areas. Operation via
magnetic wand allows the unit to be operated without opening the cover,
thereby ensuring that hazardous areas do not require declassification.
Standard features include: 3 alarm setpoints per channel, digital
display per channel, common relays (optional individual relays),
operates on 110/220 VAC (autoswitching), and 24 VDC power supply to
power sensor transmitters. The MP220EX can be used with
either our standard sensor transmitter (SM95) or our
intelligent sensor transmitter (4-20IQ).

4-20 IQ INTELLIGENT TRANSMITTER
The
model 4-20 IQ is a microprocessor based intelligent
sensor transmitter. It comes equipped with a digital display which
provides a local reading of the gas concentration. Operating on 14-24
VDC power, it provides a linear 4-20 mA output
proportional to the gas concentration, and is housed in an
explosion-proof casing. The 4-20 IQ has been UL
Classified and CSA Approved Class I, Div. 1,
Groups B, C, and D. The 4-20 IQ can operate as a
stand-alone instrument, or it can be used with an IST
control unit to provide control room readings and alarm relays.
The
4-20 IQ come equipped with an automated calibration
feature which allows the unit to be calibrated without manually
adjusting any potentiometers. Just apply gas and the 4-20 IQ
will do the rest. It couldn't be easier!
Interfacing with the 4-20 IQ is accomplished by using a
magnetic wand to activate magnetic switches located on
the front panel. Thus, all functions can be performed with removing any
covers, meaning there's no need to declassify an area being monitored.
The 4-20 IQ can be used with any of IST's sensor
technologies: infra-red (IR), solid state,
catalytic bead, or electrochemical.

SM95 STANDARD TRANSMITTER
The
model SM95 sensor transmitter is housed in an
explosion-proof casing and operates on 14-24 VDC power.
The SM95 has been UL Classified and CSA
Approved Class I, Div. 1, Groups B, C, and D. The SM95
provides a 4-20 mA linear output proportional to the
gas concentration and is calibrated by adjusting potentiomenters located
inside the housing. The SM95 can operate as a stand-alone instrument, or
it can be used in conjunction with any of IST's
complete line of control units which provide control room readings and
alarm relays. When used with any of IST's MP Series
control units, automated calibration is provided, enabling calibration
without the need to adjust potentiometers. Like the 4-20 IQ,
the SM95 can be used with any of IST's
sensor technologies: infra-red (IR), solid
state, catalytic bead, or electrochemical.
