Matheson Models IQ400
and IQ450 are extremely compact personal air monitors ideal for
applications requiring up to four channels of gas detection.
These durably engineered units can be configured with dedicated
sensors to monitor between two and four different gases, all in
a single compact instrument |
| The IQ400 series is
incredibly easy to operate and features simple, two key
operation, one button calibration, and a peaks recall function.
It is powered by standard alkaline batteries or an optional
built-in NiCad battery with integral recharging system. A
"Security Key Sequence'' safeguards against unauthorized
user adjustments or tampering. |
| The base
model, IQ400-01, is equipped with two sensors for monitoring
combustible gases (0-100% LEL) and oxygen (0-25%). The unit can
also be configured with an additional sensor for carbon monoxide
(0-1500 ppm), hydrogen sulfide (0-500 ppm), or both. |
| The IQ450
series offers advanced features for data management, including
collection, storage and download. |
| The IQ450
series can store up to 1300 events. The data can be downloaded
to a Windows equipped PC or directly to a serial printer. The
data is transmitted in a clear formatted report, and provides
confined space permit printing. |
| The IQ450
comes standard with built-in NiCad batteries with integral
recharging system, and offers back-up alkaline battery compatibility. |
| The base
model, IQ450-01, is equipped with two sensors for monitoring

| Both Models
IQ400 and IQ450 provide easy-to-read LCD digital concentration
displays for each sensor. Two stage factory set alarms are
indicated by an intense two-color LED and individually
highlighted by intelligent display backlighting. A loud audible
buzzer sounds at the high alarm level. |
| These units
are highly durable and made of engineered plastic and aluminum
alloy construction to withstand the abuse from harsh industrial
applications. They are fitted with a sure-grip rubber sleeve and
polished stainless steel belt clip. |
| The IQ400
and IQ450 are immune to interference from a cellular phone or 5
watt walkie-talkie when placed no less than one foot away. Both
are pending UL Intrinsic Safety Approval for use in Class 1,
Division 1, Group A, B, C, D locations. |
