More Information
Generators represent a safe, economical and convenient alternative to
compressed gas cylinders for many applications. Hydrogen, nitrogen and zero air
gas generators are commonly used in gas commotagraphy (GC) applications.
Hydrogen and zero air generators provide fuel air for FIDs. Nitrogen generators
are used in place of helium cylinders as a source of carrier gas for ECD, FID
and FPD detectors. The quality of carrier and detector gases is crucial in
obtaining the best results in GC applications. The ability of generators to
provide a continuous supply supply of high purity gas typically increases the
accuracy of GC analysis by producing a cleaner baseline readout from the
detector.
Zero air and ultra zero air gas generators are used in emission analysis and
stack gas sampling. Large scale nitrogen generation systems are suited for
applications including purging, chemical and solvent blanketing, food packaging,
metal heat treating, and laser cutting. They eliminate the need for inconvenient
nitrogen dewars and bulk storage tanks.
